DVN garments are custom cut-and-sewn and produced from scratch. Pricing reflects materials, construction, and customization level.
We are a full-service design and manufacturing house. Every order is made from scratch, from design and embroidery through final production.

WHy FINAL PRICING VARIES
Pricing is determined by design complexity, materials, and specific production requirements. Two garments within the same category can vary significantly based on construction and customization choices. While often similar, no two projects are exactly the same.
MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION
A varsity jacket made with custom dyed genuine leather sleeves, wool body, and chenille patchwork differs significantly in cost from one made with vegan leather and patchwork executed by felt detailing. Material upgrades and specialty fabrics, like snakeskin, impact both perceived quality and price.
EMBELLISHMENT LEVEL
A jacket with simple chest embroidery and minimal sleeve detailing will price differently than one with multiple sleeve placements, oversized back artwork, and chenille patchwork. Each placement involves separate setup, alignment, and finishing processes. As embellishment size and quantity increase, so do labor requirements and overall production time, which directly influences final pricing.
ARTWORK DEVELOPMENT
Logos and artworks often require professional redraw in vector format before production can begin. If DVN is creating original artwork, refining your design, or vectorizing existing art, additional design time and preparation are required. This ensures that graphics translate accurately in embroidery, chenille, or other embellishment methods and maintain clarity, proportion, and production integrity.
QUANTITY & INDIVIDUALIZATION
Individual customization, such as unique names, numbers, or line details per garment, requires each piece to be handled separately during production. This removes batch efficiencies, increases setup time, and requires additional quality control. As a result, per-unit pricing is higher when garments are not identical.
Larger group orders allow for streamlined production and shared fees and setup costs, which typically reduces the price per piece.

QUOTE REQUIREMENTS
To prepare an accurate quote, we must first confirm the core details of your project. Custom garments are not priced from templates, so the scope must be clearly defined before pricing can be issued.
We typically require:
- Garment type (e.g., varsity jacket, sweater, bomber)
- Estimated quantity
- Design placements (chest, sleeves, back)
- Embellishment type (embroidery, chenille, embossed, specialty materials)
- Whether garments will be identical or individually customized
Once these details are finalized, we provide a tailored quote reflecting your specific design and construction requirements.
Beginning the Vision discovery process
GARMENT INITIATION FEE
The $50 initiation fee begins the concept evaluation process and allows us to review your project details in order to prepare accurate pricing. This stage ensures that garment type, customization scope, and quantity are clearly defined before a formal quote is created.
The initiation fee does not secure production scheduling. To move into the design phase and reserve your place in our production queue, a 50% project deposit or full payment is required.
Initiation fees apply to projects that move forward within 30 days. After that time, the fee does not apply toward the order, and pricing and availability may need to be re-evaluated.

PROJECT PAYMENT TERMS
Payment requirements depend on the stage and scope of your project. Production scheduling is confirmed once required payments are received.
DESIGN-FIRST ENGAGEMENTS
If you would like artwork development or a production-ready mockup prior to committing to garment production, a design engagement is required.
Design services are billed separately and do not apply toward the cost of garment production.
All designs created by DVN remain the intellectual property of DVN unless ownership rights are purchased separately.
GARMENT ORDERS (1–4 PIECES)
Full payment is required to begin the design phase. Payment is completed through invoice checkout, where flexible options such as Shop Pay, Klarna, Afterpay, and major credit cards are available where eligible.
GARMENT ORDERS (5+ PIECES)
A 50% project deposit may be submitted to initiate design, with the remaining balance due within 4 weeks. Alternatively, full payment can be submitted to commence the project.
For group orders, we can create a single payment link that facilitators distribute to participants. Each person completes their portion of the order individually via the provided link using their own payment method. Installment options via BNPL providers are available at checkout, where eligible.
Orders paid through the shared group payment link include an additional processing fee. Groups that prefer to avoid this fee may submit payment as a lump sum.
